SE MODU «Central design institute» has accomplished international capital investment projects on construction of the residential areas for military personnel, as follows:

• For the «Program of the Soviet troops withdrawal from Germany»: the projects were accomplished; four residential areas with social facilities and complete engineering infrastructure were built for families of military personnel in such cities, as Kryvyi Rih, Starokostiantyniv, Novohrad-Volynskyi and Kyiv;
• For the «Integrated program of the stage-by-stage reduction and elimination of nuclear weapons, both land-based and air-based, in Ukraine» the projects were accomplished; two residential areas were built for families of the 43 RA military personnel in such cities as: Khmelnytskyi and Pervomaisk.

Overall area of the built residential buildings is 600 thousand square metres.
The following companies took part in the construction program fulfilment: “HOHTIEF” (Germany), “WALTER-BAU” (Germany), “TEKSER” (Turkey), “GLAVBULGARSTROY” (Bulgaria), MAKULAN” (Austria), BILL HABERT (USA), “BECHTEL NATIONAL Inc.” (USA), “BILFINGER-BERGER” (Germany).
